So ferry arrived on time 1500 on 2nd May, and as i got off the ferry, not only was it dry but sun poking out through the light cloud.
A merry wait for customs and immigration if an hour, a pleasent madam just asking if i had anything worth declaring and where I was going, and stamp. Welcome.
Went for a quick round the block of the town before striking off south, rapidly gaining the billiard smooth cycle path the 8km to campsite, unfortunately I know there was a direct ‘back door’ but could not locate it, so added 4km round to main entrance.
The site camping du 2 riviers, great. A warm welcome and told to pick any pitch I fancied. I fancied one by the lake and found an ideal sunny spot.

After setting up I was rapidly greeted by the friendliest ducks ever. Cooked some pasta and onions and enjoyed the sunset.
Up at 8am next morning, along to pick up my pre ordered croissant’s and had a nice breakfast with tea.
Then saddle up and back to dieppe this time via the back door, first stop the castle museum(unfortunately closed, but a good view).

So went to maritime Museum and aquarium instead, good for an hours visit.
So first seafood resteraunt I sought out was not open so picked a nice looking harbour front one and had a seafood platter and bottle of white wine.

After a couple of hours back to camp where did some domestic duties sun in patches and light breeze so had first go at rigging my washline…aka additional security wire. Nice and stable. A visiting food truck comes tonight, so a day off cooking.
