The real ave verte

So it was up and away…not to early mind, was up at 7 and the lake was covered in thick mist…as I got ready and had breakfast of couiseent’s it burnt off. Then it was turn right and start on the butter smooth tarmac on what was the dieppe to Paris rail line. For 30 miles it is totally off road, you pass many small villages on the way and just have to pause for the many minor road crossing. I paused at a roadside bench for lunch and later found a old station converted to a lovely cafe in the tiny village of saint-saire. The last half mile at forge-les-eaux on road to the fine municipal campsite. Walked into town and had a look around, takeaway pizza for dinner at the campsite

Like this all the way
