So out of Paris, along a wonderful off road tarred path which wanders its way out of Paris, the coulie vert. Quick pause first as close by velo shop for a 6euro inner tube, don’t think repair on old one easy.

After leaving Paris you pass via the buisness centre of Massy, l decided to take the south route via limours rather than versias, as has been there before.

Noted this road bridge as i went under, not all the allowed paths where implemented….leaving the odd bit

Along the was passed over lovely old railway bridge built in 1913, destroyed in 1945 and rebuilt in 2003, it just randomly pops up in the middle of the forrest, a load of army chaps using it for absail training…down the hole!.

Then followed the path of aero train test track, part of same railway line which was decommissioned in 1953 (we seperate post on it).

Finally got to campsite just outside of rambouillete. Site apart from having a nice swimming pool, most disappointing so far…not very busy and the area allocated rather unkempt, the season is just starting and this belongs to a large commercial group. Expensive at 19Euro a night, and infested with mozzies. The only upside was meeting a nice lady from abergaveny going other way…went for a swim together and chat then coffee in morning.
