So leaving the lovely site at chatres(it has had a lot of money invested over last 3 years….apparently it used to be crap.

The first half if the day was a long cycle paths and then out over the plain….gently undulating fields with wheat waving in the wind.

Then it started to get very bumpy up and down which is hard on the legs. The roads faily empty.. passed through fraze which has lovely buildings and a fine simple church

The final was a great downhill into nocent Nogent le retrou. I then booked into ‘manoir michalet’ emwhich a b and b owned my Marc.

Building is from 15th century manor house. It’s lovely inside and well recommended

Popped into town and had a fine pizza and a couple of ‘delirium red’ at local.. bar….I was tired and some good sleep had
