A day of too halfs, the first one was the steep climb out of town on roads shared by the composinual religious walk this was culminated in a small village which provided picnic bench, water tap and compost toilet, then an amazing downhill to slot onto the lot valley. The river lot I was to become familiar with over the next week. The valley road quite and scenery amazing, like something off film set…another scorcher of a day. Decided to spend two nights st campsite.

The next day was spent just chilling out in the village and hiding out of sun. There was a great coincidence when I said Hi to a couple in the only uk plated camper. He was a chief engineer now retired and she was cousin to the wife of an electrician I had sailed with. Richard and Angela maule, I sailed with them about 20 years before.
