This was a hot ride up the pleasent flat roads along the dordogne valley through fertile fields up to souliac where a fine lunch was had at the LA BICICLETA cafe where bikes are the theme and the staff where interested in my travels. After lunch in the blistering heat it was a hard but rewarding climb up to rochmandour which is a fascinating village built on a cliff. Campsite was just directly adjacent to town.
