Shops dont vanish in France…they just fade
In this town a good demonstration how some places survive and thrive and some slowly fade away….no real shops in town apart from bakers. Most of the photos below taken in 200mtrs on same street, it would have been bustling in years gone by.

One of the shuttle busses in use….the can be driven from either end! Reminds me of a Flintstones car..

Aerotrain
A project of one mans mind produced a pre-cursor of modern high speed train travel, the man was jean bertin. An aeronautical engineer. On this stretch of old rail line he built a test track and ran the first prototypes. (Which still exits) hitting 422km/hr. Later larger prototypes where run near orleans, project was abandoned…
